a pumpkin patch and Halloween

Despite it being unseasonably warm, we made the best of our October and took the kids to the pumpkin patch.  They had a blast picking out their best pumpkin and going on a pony ride.  For Halloween, the boys were both Transformers, and Elsie was a ballerina.  They were so excited to go trick-or-treating.  The made it home with way too much candy, but they enjoyed themselves nonetheless.

September 2015

In September, Matt was out of town for a few weeks for work.  During the time he was gone, our garage door and A/C broke.  We could live without the A/C, but the garage door needed to be fixed.  The kids thought watching the repairman was really entertaining.  Me...not so much.  Ha.  But Elsie perfected her climbing skills, insisted on always feeding herself, and even ate a little sand.  When Matt got home, we picked him up and went for ice cream in downtown San Diego.  Graham also went back to preschool!  He was very excited to see his friends and teachers again.
