We had a lot of fun getting ready for Christmas this year. The kids were excited for every little activity, and loved it all. We made some chocolate covered pretzels, gingerbread houses, saw the neighborhood lights, watched some Christmas movies, and visited Santa. It was a very fun season!

Thanksgiving and some cousin time
This year for Thanksgiving, Nicole, Adam, Olivia, and my parents came out to celebrate with us. It was so good to have everyone together. (Minus Hannah...maybe next time! : ) ). But the kids had a blast playing, and we had a lot of fun eating and enjoying each other's company. We didn't get any pictures of the actual feast, but only a few of the kids playing. Mason was lucky enough to sneak an early roll, and the boys had a whole wall of cute decorations. As a family we made a thankful tree. When my parents were here, the kids got to open an early Christmas present...a little Charlie Brown tree. It is so cute and the kids got the biggest kick out of it.
Happy 5th Birthday, Graham!
On November 18th, Graham turned 5! We can't believe that he is 5 already. Little Graham was so excited for his birthday. He had a number of people send him cards and packages, and he kept saying, "So many people love me!" It was so cute. On Graham's actual birthday we had a little party at home, complete with chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting and rainbow sprinkles, per Graham's request. The Saturday following his birthday, Graham got to have a friend party, with a science theme. We had little safety goggles for the kids, as well as name tags and lab coats. For the party, we had a few simple science experiments for the kids to do, including a baking soda and vinegar rocket that Matt launched off from the street. Graham had a great day, and we sure enjoyed celebrating his birthday with him. Happy birthday, Graham! We love you tons and tons!
