a two month old cutie patootie!

and we smile all the time!

and it's pretty cute.

because Graham is our...

he sometimes flies around like a super hero, with a cape made of jammies.

and sometimes he gets distracted,

but smiles too.

we have a few really good bedtime stories to read...

And Graham loves to take a bath. He will calm down and enjoy the water and kick his little teeny dolphins. Just don't take him out of the bath. The only time Graham really cries is when he is taken out of the tub. He cries a little when he's hungry, but not as much as when he has to get out of the tub. We take extra measures to make sure he's warm and dry, but he's still rather upset with us.

The weather is so nice we sometimes take walks in the neighborhood.

And Graham loves to read the paper with Daddy.

And he sleeps in his own bed like a big boy. When we got home from vacation, Matt gave Graham the boot. : ( I was sad, but it was for the better. Graham is a really noisy grunter and would sometimes keep us up at night. He seems to like his bed and is doing really well.

Christmas 2010

*warning: the following post has ton of picutres... I hope you don't mind. : )

This year our Christmas celebrations really lasted a few weeks. We started off by going to Mesa to see the temple lights. It's no Temple Square, but they do a nice job anyway. We started the night by going to Texas Rhodehouse, which was delish, saw the lights, and ended up having to get our car jumped in a Chick-fil-A parking lot. Our battery was beyond dead.

We bundled up Graham, he didn't seem to mind or care.

We had our own little Christmas morning a few days before we left for the great north so we wouldn't have so much to take with us. Space was limited with what we could pack, so we figured the less we had to take with us, the better. Graham slept through the gifts, but he was sure to get Daddy the gift he picked out.

Our early Christmas loot.

And we headed off to Utah. We hadn't planned on going, since Graham's due date was December 11th, but since he came early we had time enough to recoup and so we decided to go. We split up the drive there by staying the night in St. George. It was a really rainy drive. It started raining in Phoenix and was still raining in Salt Lake the next day. Graham was such a good traveler, he slept the whole way.

We made it to Utah and Graham got to meet our good friends Russell and Mandy.

And his cousin Jane.

On Christmas Eve, Santa brought us girls some sweet Oobies. Have you ever heard of these? Clearly they are all the rage. :)

My mom sent us a copy of The Night Before Christmas to read. A tradition in my family is to read this story every Christmas Eve. I think Graham liked the story, even though he looks rather terrified here. Maybe he just didn't want to hold the book.

Graham was awake a large portion of the night on Christmas Eve, even though we told him that Santa wouldn't come if he was awake. Santa did come, but Graham decided to sleep while we opened presents. Here's Graham's present from Santa, all wrapped in Santa paper.

When he woke up a little later he got to play with his new toy. Sorry the picture is sideways, blog malfunction.

Yawning. Hopefully it's not because he thinks Hotwheels are boring...

Graham and Aunt Katelyn.

Annie gave such nice kisses.

This year we had Riley's name for Christmas. Our gift to him was this mini-fridge. Matt found it on Craigslist, and it was nasty. I tried to convince Matt to leave it home and get Riley something else, but he assured me Riley would love it. I had my doubts, because this thing looked like it fell off the back of a truck into a pile of mud, but Matt insisted. Turns out, Riley loved it. He now calls his room "The Mens Lounge" and serves Sprite out of his fridge.

Aunt Allison read a story to Jane and Graham. Sorry...sideways again.

All the Serafine grandchildren.

We made it up to Idaho next and got to see my cute sisters and Graham's cousin, Adam.

Graham also got to meet my Grandma McKenzie, his Great-grandma.

And my Grandpa McKenzie.

One of the days we were in Idaho we went up to Driggs to my Aunt and Uncle's cabin. It was a great afternoon. We ate some soup, watched a movie, and just relaxed. Driggs is beautiful, in case you haven't been there. You can see the Tetons from the front window of the cabin, but this day it was kind of snowy and cloudy so you can't see much. The Tetons are behind these clouds, I promise. : )

Graham took a nap in front of the warm fire.

Here's the front of the cabin, the siding is being replaced and it will all be green soon.

My sister Hannah got this foot bath for Christmas. Somehow Matt talked her into giving him a foot bath. I don't know how...but it only cost him a lunch at 5 Guys.

And then it was my Birthday. I got some really neat kitchen items and this copy of Despicable Me.

It came complete with an inflatable Minion. Super cool.

And some birthday ice cream in Utah.

And a floating baby held up by invisible arms. : )

And then we drove home. Graham was a champ and slept the whole 13 hours it took us to get home. I felt bad for him sleeping so long, but he seemed to do okay until the last hour or so when he was done being in his seat. It might not have taken us so long but the roads between Salt Lake and Cedar City were really bad. I (not Matt) was white knuckle the whole way. I'm not a very good passenger/back seat driver. Sorry Matt.

We finally made it home. We had a great Christmas!
