Mason's big day

Mason had quite a big day on his little birthday.  We think he had a good time; we sure enjoyed our day with him!  We did our birthday festivities a little backwards because of the plans for the evening.  We let him see his big present right when he woke up, and he loves it.  We filled his little truck with presents, and made a balloon path to his toys.

(I love this picture.  It's almost like he's saying, "you didn't...")

He drove around in his little car all morning.  He just smiled and smiled the whole time.

After Mason's morning nap we did cake and presents.  Watching Mason eat a cupcake was just about the cutest thing.  He started by sticking his finger in the frosting and licking it, very slowly.  Once we took the paper off and showed him how to hold it, he devoured it.  He got a little upset if we tried to interrupt his cupcake time with any presents.

Look at those little arms.  "Give me that cupcake!" he says.

After lunch we headed downtown to a baseball game.  It was a very full day, but it was so much fun!

(And having Grandma, Grandpa, and Hannah come down made the birthday even better!  Thanks for coming you guys!  We miss you already!)
