Matt had his second week off since last June in March. We decided it would be a fun day to drive up to LA to hang out and see some of our good friends that live in Pasadena. We drove up in the morning and made our first stop Downtown Disney. Downtown Disney is really fun but it was kind of sad being sooo close to Disneyland and not going in. We'll make more trips up there over the next few years, I'm sure.
We stopped by the Lego store, and the boys loved it.
They were building race cars outside, so Graham and Matt made themselves a car to race.
Mason played with Duplos.
When it was time to race, Graham's car did pretty well. : ) It wasn't the fastest of all the cars, but it was a close second.
Graham even found Emmit on his double decker couch. : ) And Captain Metalbeard, of course.
We stopped for lunch and the boys had to make some wishes in this fountain.
We also went into the Disney Store. Mason found this Lightening McQueen cookie, and he had to have it. He even started eating it before it was unwrapped.
We stopped by to see our friends, Russell and Mandy, and went to dinner at Hecho en Mexico. It was a funny little dumpy Mexican place in Pasadena, but it was soooo good.
